Alvaro (Al) Barraza

FOUNDER, INSIGHTS & STRATEGY

Al is a leading consultant in global insights, strategy, and multicultural marketing. His extensive expertise spans multiple industries including payments, ecommerce, insurance and financial services, software, consumer packaged goods, and transportation.

Prior to founding Preference Analytics, Al was the Director of Market Research at Allstate and a Director of Research at PayPal. He has a master's degree in Economics, and bachelor's degrees in Economics and International Relations from San Francisco State University.

Felice Stahl

CO-FOUNDER, INSIGHTS & STRATEGY

Felice is a Market Research professional who helps design, manage, and execute comprehensive, creative, and enlightening qualitative research projects. She is a R.I.V.A. trained moderator and has interviewed several hundred small business owners across North America.

Her broad experience includes working with high tech brands, Fortune 500s, and nonprofit organizations. She has a master's degree in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor's in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz.

Jaime (James) Barraza

DIRECTOR, SURVEY OPERATIONS

James is responsible for critical survey operations, including scheduling, programming, testing, data transfers, fielding, quality control, and setting up parameters for data analysis. He is our go-to expert on market insights and business implications gained from secondary research. 20+ years working at small and medium-sized businesses.

He has also served as the Western Division Regional Service Manager at Superior Coffee, Inc. and the National Service Manager at Crossroads Espresso, Inc. and has a bachelor's degree in Marketing from San Francisco State University.

Jane Klopp

SENIOR RESEARCHER

Jane has over 25 years of quantitative research experience, primarily on the supplier side of the business, across a wide range of industries (consumer packaged goods, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage, financial, and quick service restaurants).

Her supplier side experience includes Millward Brown and Dynata. She has in-depth experience with concept and ad evaluations, brand equity-tracking, brand advertising tracking, and brand positioning.

Sue Skelly

SENIOR RESEARCHER

Sue has over 25 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods and innovation. She spent a significant amount of her career on the client-side at companies like Kraft and Colgate Palmolive and consulted for start-ups, small and large Food and Beverage, Apparel, Financial Services, and ecommerce companies.

She also has significant experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies for product development, communications, strategy, equity, and innovation.

Claudio Perez-Korinko

SENIOR RESEARCHER

With 25 years of experience, Claudio is a bilingual in Spanish and English qualitative researcher using respondents’ culture as a tool to design and conduct focus groups, IDIs, projective, ethnographic, and semiotic collecting methods in the traditional and online space.

Claudio’s insights are derived from his hybrid collecting methods approach in the environment in which respondents and products interact, where respondents live and in their own terms to provide clients with meaningful and actionable-cultural-solutions.

Reyna Hohagen

SENIOR RESEARCHER

Reyna Hohagen is a trilingual Spanish, English, and French consumer insights expert and analytic thinker. Her career started over 15 years ago as a Hispanic segment specialist at C+R Research and developed at Sorgem International in France as a multicultural, qualitative and
ethnographic research analyst. She was born in Lima, Peru and spent her formative years in Chicago. Reyna holds an MBA.

Malini Hari

Malini is a Customer Insights Professional with 15+ years of experience in primary qualitative and quantitative research in marketing and UX. She has worked in the tech industry for 10+ years at PayPal, Facebook, and Google. She specializes in Innovation Research to help organizations identify and create new game-changing new products and experiences.

Joyce Snell

SENIOR RESEARCHER

With over 20 years of experience, Joyce is a qualitative researcher offering solutions - both traditional and online - to meet clients' information needs. She provides custom design and personal attention for each study. She has extensive experience spanning a wide range of methodologies and industries in the consumer & B2B markets.
